What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser. It can remember preferences, measure audience, or enable third-party features.
Our approach
The site gss-congo.com is designed to run without any tracking cookies. Audience measurement is handled by Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless tool with no user identifiers, and therefore needs no consent banner.
Cookies currently in use
Essential cookies
None. The site does not set any essential cookie — there is no shopping cart, no user session, no authentication.
Audience measurement cookies
Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set cookies. Statistics are aggregated anonymously from standard HTTP headers and cannot re-identify a visitor.
Third-party cookies
The site does not load advertising scripts or social-media pixels. The only third-party content loaded is:
- Google Maps — the map embed on the contact page may set its own cookies when it loads. To avoid this entirely, do not scroll to the map or block third-party iframes in your browser.
- Instagram & Facebook — on the homepage, the embeds may set their own cookies when they load. Same blocking guidance as above.
How to refuse or delete cookies
All modern browsers let you block third-party cookies and delete those already stored:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking third-party cookies does not impair GSS site functionality — only the Google Maps, Instagram, and Facebook embeds may be affected.
