Guarde Security Services (GSS) takes the privacy of visitors, prospects, and applicants seriously. This policy describes the data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the rights you can exercise.

Data we collect
We collect only the data you submit to us voluntarily, primarily through the contact form:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Company name (optional)
- Service of interest
- Description of your need
The site also collects anonymised audience metrics via Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies, no user identifiers).
Purposes of processing
- Respond to your quote or information request.
- Establish a service contract if you decide to work with us.
- Improve the quality of our site and services.
No data is used for unsolicited commercial outreach, nor sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
Legal basis
Form data processing rests on your consent (voluntary submission) and, where applicable, on the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
Retention
- Inactive quote requests: 24 months after the last exchange, then deletion.
- Contract data: contract duration + 5 years to satisfy accounting and legal obligations.
- Applications: 24 months after receipt, then deletion unless extended retention is requested.
- Audience metrics: aggregated and anonymised, retained according to Cloudflare's policy.
Recipients
Your data is accessible only to GSS staff whose role requires it (sales, operations, HR). No data is transmitted to third parties beyond:
- Web3Forms (form transmission gateway — data passes through and is delivered to the GSS email inbox, with no storage on the Web3Forms side beyond delivery).
- Cloudflare (hosting, anonymised audience metrics).
Security
The site is served over strict HTTPS. Form data is transmitted encrypted. Internal access to received emails is restricted to authorised staff.
Your rights
In line with general data protection principles, you have:
- The right to access your data.
- The right to correct it if inaccurate.
- The right to deletion (subject to legal retention obligations).
- The right to object to processing.
- The right to data portability.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@gss-congo.com stating the subject of your request. We respond within a reasonable timeframe, typically under 30 days.
